1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AI Compliance Copilot platform ("Service"), operated by cybershack.eu ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Nature of the Service
The Service is a compliance workflow tool that assists organisations in managing their EU AI Act obligations. It provides:
- Risk classification workflows based on Article 6 criteria
- Document templates for compliance documentation
- Checklists for tracking compliance obligations
- Assessment frameworks for AI literacy, fundamental rights, and monitoring
- Incident reporting workflows
The Service does not provide legal advice, regulatory guidance, or guarantee compliance with any law or regulation.
3. No Legal Advice
None of the content generated by this platform constitutes legal advice. Document templates, compliance checklists, risk assessments, and all other outputs are provided for informational and workflow purposes only. You should not rely on these materials as a substitute for professional legal counsel. The EU AI Act is complex and its application varies by jurisdiction, sector, and use case.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that generated documents are legally sufficient.
- We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
- We shall not be liable for any fines, penalties, or enforcement actions imposed by regulatory authorities, including but not limited to penalties under the EU AI Act.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring all information you input into the Service is accurate and complete.
- Reviewing all generated documents for accuracy and legal sufficiency before use.
- Consulting qualified legal counsel regarding your compliance obligations.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
6. Subscriptions and Payment
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Free trial accounts are automatically converted to free-tier accounts after 14 days. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as outlined in our refund policy.
7. Data and Privacy
Your data is stored in the EU and processed in accordance with GDPR. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy and GDPR page for details.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
